Phil Stephenson Joins BSI Group

The BSI Group, known for its Kitemark and as a world leader in setting quality and safety standards for industry and consumers, has appointed Phil Stephenson as Head of Risk Management.

Phil joins BSI Group to strengthen its own commitment to achieving the highest levels of corporate governance. His excellent track record in designing and implementing international risk management and governance control systems for Lattice Group, British Gas and Transco ensures that BSI Group can be confident of Phil's abilities.

His experience across Europe, Asia and the Americas fits well with BSI Group's global operations, where demonstrating compliance with all legal and commercial issues are crucial to gaining full competitive advantage.

Commenting on his appointment, Phil says:

"My key role will be to facilitate and assist BSI Group's managers to understand risk issues so that we achieve transparency and identify risk at the earliest opportunity.
